Integrity and personal responsibility from a family owned and operated business
After several years as a professional glazier in Queensland, Paul Neumann opened Speedie Glass in West Ipswich in 1990. It has since moved to its current location at 11 Pine Mountain Road in North Ipswich and has grown into a successful glass and mirror business run by Paul, his wife Lesley and sons Jason, Matthew and David.
As a family owned and operated company of qualified glaziers, Speedie Glass is a QBCC licensed member of Queensland’s Glass & Aluminium Association (GAAQ). And Paul sees his business as one family serving another. He personally answers every call, no matter what time of day or night.
“We don’t sell our services,” says Paul. “We’re selling our family. Our quality and integrity is in our service. Our customers work hard so it’s our job to give them the best value for their money. And we rely on our vendors to give us their best so we can do that.”
Paul prides himself on using only Australian-made products, even if he pays a little extra for quality. He credits his success to quality workmanship and personal accountability.
“When you’re invited into a home to do a job, it’s an honour, not a right” says Paul. “We’re tradesman who take our work seriously. And take your business seriously, too.”
